Downloaded Ringtones and Sounds

I have some ringtones I made saved in the Download folder. But, the V30 doesn't appear to search that folder for available tones as they don't show up as available to use. I attempted to move them to the ringtones folder, but the phone doesn't give me that option. Any assistance would be appreciated. TIA.

What file manager are you using? Are you trying to copy it to the /Ringtones directory that's user-accessible, or a protected system directory? The full directory name should be /storage/emulated/0/Ringtones (or /storage/sdcard0/Ringtones).

Yeah, I'm an *****. I was trying to move it from the 'download' app as opposed to going into the actual file manager. All set now. Thanks.
