I've just got a new Samsung Galaxy Ace, which I love, except..... whenever I try to download an app, I sign in using my google address as it asks, then press "get" for the app, and the phone says "sign-in timed out". PLEASE could someone suggest what I should do? This is my first smart phone, and I really want to use all its functions! Thanks.

No, I wasn't, I was trying to use the Samsung Apps icon in my applications. Today, however, I did download from the Play Store, once I'd connected it to my gmail account, and that seemed to work. Fingers crossed!
