Downloading/transferring songs

Hello. I'm having a tough time and I tried many Google searches. I want songs that I bought on my s8 from Google play music to my pc.

1. I assume I have to have the music downloaded to the devices/sd card, correct? If so How do I do that. I tried to do it when I opned a song on my phone but didn't see any thing.

2. After I do that how do I get the music to my pc via usb cord?

3. Will these be mp3 files? I believe my TomTom watch will only uplad mp3 files.

I don't know what wrong. I hit download on the song/album and it downloads but nothing shows up in my internal storage/sd card.

You have to download the mp3s from the playstore in the chrome browser on your pc.
