Bingo. Specs are just specs, and bigger/faster/smaller specs will always be around the corner.

Usability, smoothness, etc, should be what's part of a dream phone. This is why I have a Mac and not a specced-out PC. This is why I love Sense, even though it uses more mem/cpu than stock, it's smoother and more usable (IMO!!!) than Stock.

I hope one of the manufacturers at least will come to their senses (no pun intended) and build a phone and advertise its usability, ease, smoothness, available apps, rather than compete on specs.

Specs are a losing proposition anyway, because 2 minutes after you come out with higher specs, someone else will announce a phone with even better specs. Lose-lose. But not everyone can immediately come out with something better, easier, smoother to use! make it count, manufacturers!
