So the other night I decided to be nice and take my wife's car to get gas. When I got in I tossed the phone in the center console. It wasn't until about 10 minutes later I realized that center console happened to be a cup of water. I only noticed it then because the camera flash started randomly coming on and going off.
I won't even get into what crap I dealt with when trying to get a replacement from Asurion (3 week back order or a "comparable" Eris or Devour), but after 36 hours in a bag of rice my Droid is back alive. Aside from some fuzziness on the screen it appears to be going strong.
Looks like even 10 minutes in a few inches of water can't stop our Droids.
