Droid 2.1 question?!

After using Bugless Beauty not sure I even care about an update it has everything except flash.

i read the update and felt the same thing.. i'll wait for someone to setup a rooted live wallpaper..

Anything can be done with root. I will wait to see if you can still root before updating. If not I will wait for 2.1 with root to become available.

I don't think people are getting "upset" per-say. I am just curious about how people feel about this. I want a "temperature of the room" if you will. Seeing as not many of my friends have droids, I like to hear what other droid owners think.

Well, for now all we can do is wait and see! I am sure this update with be hitting our phones any day now, and after that we can either praise or complain to our hearts content.

Apparently many VZW employees are being told be the 18th. Although, I am not a date setter by any-means, unless its by the 31st of march.

It actually kind of upsets me that we won't be getting the new app drawer and live wallpapers and all of that on the Droid but at the same time I can understand the reasoning behind it.

2.0.1 is missing the new gallery, new dock app, new multi touch browser, new news widget, new music player. I would not call it 2.0.1.

True and that is just a test build. They may be testing a few features at a time and adding a few as they get approved. Easiest way to trouble shoot.
The good thing is that we are getting multi touch browser now.

No details have been leaked as far as towards what will be and what will not be included.
Everything you read from a tipster is not 100% accurate.
