I'm still within my 30 day trial and want to switch to the global cause my wife and I travel internationally a lot so its important. I didn't even realise upon purchase the D2 wasn't a world phone. However, I signed up at BestBuy and they don't have them in stock yet so if they don't get them in this coming week I'm screwed. I called Verizon and they pretty much told md I have to go through BestBuy. Other option is to cancel the service and resign through Verizon directly but that's an inconvenience. So I may just keep the D2. I love it anyhow.

That sucks. When is it supposed to be released? I wonder if it will be the same price as the D2?

It's already available through Verizon and the price is the same I paid at BestBuy - $199. It's just that BestBuy doesn't yet have them in stock.

I got mine from BestBuy for $99. It is one of the reasons why im not going to exchange mine for the Global. I don't think that it is worth the extra $100. But good luck with getting it.

Yeah. If not I think I could probably just get the $100 back since the price dropped. Should be covered under their price protection I'd figure.
