Also the front facing camera is placed differently than the Droid 3. This one has it near the center left of the ear piece. The D3 is on the right.

I honestly did not catch they announced Droid 3 was going to be web-top ready. I have not been following it as it wasn't a LTE phone. So it is possible this is not the Bionic, but I am convinced that it is. But I have been wrong before.

Well in conclusion if these are real i will wait for it UNLESS its after tiered data pricing, in which case the form factor is not enough to make me lose out on unlimited data.

If so i will get a Charge, and hopefully itll be cheaper by then.

If the Bionic is rootable, has a non-pentile display, and takes pictures at least on par with the TB then that will be my next phone!

I still have a week to take the Charge back, but I don't think I will. I don't wanna wait longer just to pay twice as much, considering I got it for $150. But if it has the aforementioned things and is confirmed for July, I may yet consider it.

Anyone's best guess on the bootloader. But, for the screen, I think the SAMOLED+ will win out regardless. The higher resolution qHD display is nice, but if it's still a pentile display, it won't be close IMO. If they've gone away from the pentile display, it'll be closer, but I think the SAMOLED+ would still win out. Whether that'll be close enough will depend on the individual's taste (and eyesight).

Its like Motor doesnt want to take any chances or something. I have never seen a smartphone look more basic. Not even iphone 3

I like the basic look. Do you really need a gaudy phone that demands attention wherever you go? I'd rather have an inconspicuous and powerful black slab than a cheap POS with some plastic chrome that is going to flake after a month's worth of use.

Now that you mention it, you can almost see it. Or maybe now that I'm looking for it, my eyes are being tricked into seeing it. Heck, I don't know. But, definitely a side shot would have put it to rest one way or the other.

I would agree. I think I see a bit of a hump as well.

Curious though how ?leaked? pictures take such pains not to show any defining angles of the phone?

Do you guys mean a hump on the long side of the phone? Like on the side of where the USB and HDMI port is?

I'm happy with the design! If there is a hump there, and I don't think there is, it's so minimal that I can live with it. Hoping the HoFo'ers confirm or deny these pics as being the Bionic soon!

I was just thinking the same thing Preach and I do believe you're right...if you look at the Bionic's netbook dock size and compare it to the Atrix's netbook dock, they are one and the same.
I guess it makes sense, if Moto made the Bionic a different size than the Atrix, then they would have to make a different netbook to fit the Bionic. If they keep the phones the same size, especially when you upgrade to a new one later, you don't have to change your netbook...I guess we're getting a 4" Bionic!
