Droid Bionic First Pictures!!

Wow, I just read the past couple of pages and went from "4 inches? Ugh...no thanks." to "4.5 inches?! Yes, please!!!" I'm pretty excited about that, if you can't tell. :D

Such a huge looking device. I remember the day the X came out, I went to the VZW store to buy it and the first time I saw it I was astonished at how big it was. Well, looks like I need even bigger pockets now lol.

Looking closer, it is next to a 3.7 inch Moto Defy, not a 4inch Atrix.

Bummer. 4.5" is just too big for me.

Looks like it is the droid3 or bust for me.

Yup 4.5 inches is a bummer, dont want a screen size that big.

My search for my next phone continues . :)

- Original 2.3.4 system
- 4.5 qHD resolution large screen
- 8MP + front camera, support 1080P HD video
- An external Docking
- Stunning animation effects, blue translucent notification bar
- 1750mAh battery, time to market and price unknown

Wow..4.5"..that sucks...sounds like thunderdolt or revolution for me...

Wow! 4.5 inches is big tho. I have the Droid X now and in my hands it is like a mini tablet. If it is released in July or August, I will go to the VZW store to see the demo version before commiting. I have to wait till the end of September for my upgrade anyway.

Im gonna buy a NGP/PSP2/PS Vita its 5inches

i dont need a 4.5incher

Is that is in fact a Defy next to it, It might not be that bad. I'm still hoping for a 4.3" but it doesn't seem that much bigger than my X once I thought about it. The Touch buttons are taking up the black part above the physical buttons(maybe a tiny section of the physical buttons also) on the X. There is a lip below the buttons on the X too, it just doesn't look at bad because it's the same color as the phone. So overall, it's not off the list as I at first though it was. I'm upset that they downsized the battery AND increased the screen size? talk about a dumb & trashy move. Oh well. I still stand by Motorola as always.

Droid 3 has webtop.
The back also looks identical to the droid 3 leaked yesterday.

Only thing different is the 4G logo, which can easily be shopped.

Im not convinced yet. But who knows, it is motorola.

This is a different phone , not the Droid 3
Differences (that i know of so far) :

-This one have the front facing camera on left side of the earpiece , while the Droid 3's camera on the right side

- The screen is too big to be 4" (You can see it when its docked in the laptop , Atrix is a bit smaller than the dock & Bionic is a little taller

- The back is different than the Droid 3 , the Droid 3 have the same style of battery cover as the Droid 1 & 2 , while this one have a snap-on like the Atrix

- The Droid 3 have a Silver mesh grille for the Earpiece , while this one is blacked out

- The bottom silver piece is shorter than the one on the Droid 3's chin

- The speaker on the Droid 3 is on the right side , while the Bionic's is on the left side

- the area surrounding the Rear Camera is different
- On the Droid 3 its black & its vertical
- On the Bionic its silver , says 1080p & Horizontal , plus there is a mesh grille around it

If that ain't enough to convince you , I guess you will have to wait & see them both

I was just thinking the same thing Preach and I do believe you're right...if you look at the Bionic's netbook dock size and compare it to the Atrix's netbook dock, they are one and the same.
I guess it makes sense, if Moto made the Bionic a different size than the Atrix, then they would have to make a different netbook to fit the Bionic. If they keep the phones the same size, especially when you upgrade to a new one later, you don't have to change your netbook...I guess we're getting a 4" Bionic!

Hands-on: Motorola's Atrix Android phone leads secret double life as a netbook

The phone is bigger than the Atrix , You can see it when its docked in the laptop ,the Atrix is a bit shorter than the dock & Bionic is a little taller (kinda sticking out a bit)

This phone looks awesome wither its a 4.3" or a 4.5"
as a manner of fact , this is one of the best looking Android phones , or thats how i see it

man , tooo may choices , tooooo much Pressure , I was aiming for the Atrix to replace my OG MileStone , but "S#$^ just got real" , It ain't easy no more

My only concern is :
Is there gonna be a GSM Version ? or at least a "World Phone" ?

Quick question :
Does it have a Dual\2 Speakers ?
from the pictures , there is too Mesh grilles on the back , one on the lower side & the other one near the camera

Or the Mesh grill near the camera is fake & for decoration purpose only like the HTC HD7 ?

I will buy it a week after it is released!!!! It looks great!!! I have Big hands so it will be just right. I like carrying my phones in a case!!!

I will get it either way but I honestly prefer the old look to the new one. I like the bigger size and the spec changes etc Just wish they would have kept the old look with the new size and specs.

It has a hump, albeit a small one. If you trace the accent line on the back that's on both sides it flares in ever so slightly. I don't think it's as big as the render, but it's definitely there.

As for the phone: it looks good, but boring. Right now I prefer the original, but I'll wait and see when it's officially announced.
