Droid Bionic Release Date?

Since when is training a month long? it always used to be 2 weeks from when employees began training to when phones launched.

Ever since the DROID Bionic was a BEAST phone.

Who knows? Maybe they won't be training the whole time. Or maybe this phone requires more training. Could be many reasons, I'm just spreading word from the office

Well this thread just got a little more interesting. That does seem a little close to the Droid 3 launch but this would make it a little easier for me to decide on what to upgrade to. Does this friend of yours have any information on the final specs of the Bionic to share with us? I mean if he is getting trained on it you would think that he may know a little something. Just saying.

No spec info yet! He's not one of the ones being trained, just works at the office

Yeah but the gs2 is better spec wise and most likely moto will stick their blur on it. Ive been waiting for this phone but if it has the issues like the atrix has that would really be a let down. Guess we will find out over the next few weeks.

You can't call a call center directly guys, that's why there isn't any number. You have to call customer service and be directed.

Not really. I mean anyone can say a vzw rep came in and said that. Now if they add some pics or something to support the claim than that will be a different story. I hope you are right though I am tired of waiting. If they release this thing and it has issues like the tb had then moto could be in alot of trouble since they already delayed and redesigned it so by the time it comes out it should be just about perfect. yeah right lol

I mean, there's no reason for him to lie about that so ill go with it! But oh my if there's problems with the bionic then motorola will be screwed! This whole waiting process is getting similar to the anticipation of the first iphone coming out! A fail here will disappoint many people that's for sure!

There is plenty of reason to lie but I agree I dont think he/she was but yes moto needs to make this a true beast of a phone if it is buggy and laggy like the DX2 it could be the end for moto. I mean especially with the gs2 getting such great reviews already the bionic is what I want but i will wait a few days once it is out to grab it to see reviews. Hopefully moto listened to what people had to say and redesigned the bionic to try and be the true" end of waiting" Maybe that is why they stuck the dx2 with froyo and 512mb ram?

If it has the 3d moto blur like on the droid 3 it doesnt look half bad. It will be interesting to see how it functions with the dual core maybe they tuned it specifically for omap dual cores? Hopefully it wont cause any lag like on the droid x2.

well if I end up returning my Charge and Bionic turns up bust I can just go get another one but after my chat with VZW today I will gladly sling my BB Storm 2 one more month to get bionic instead of settling for Charge due to a CSR from last week.
