Droid Charge "Not enough space" on homescreen

I got a Droid Charge to replace my broken one and used it for under a week. I started getting a message on my screen that says "Not enough space" that when I unlock the screen.

If I go to SD card & phone storage in the settings, it says Available Space is 28.74 GB Internal space is 1.07 GB. I'm not even trying to install anything, it just shows that message every time I unlock the screen.

Do you have a lot of apps installed? Try going through and deleting some of the cache for the larger apps and go through unnecessary text and email. Text and email often take space which causes problems.
