droid explorer does work and makes things easier..

I dont know how many of you know about droid explorer But it works like a charm.. Has lots of useful plug in's like screencast and allows you to install apps and even flash a recovery and install roms. It really good also for boot loops etc.. just thought i would post that up. It was something a friend turned me on to one day.

I have.. it is a lot less typing thats for sure.. this you can point and click just have the recovery .img file on your sd card first and thats it ...... as long as you are rooted you are fine..

Well its actually fairly easy if you can point and click the mouse it is a cake walk... lol. very lil typing is ever needed in it.. and it installs its own adb so you dont have to have the sdk downloaded..and the developer of the program has a guide for it.. it works with every android phone i have ever picked up and tried it with..and even has screen cast and desktop sms and other things builtin..

just tried it. didn't work. I clicked "flash recovery image" then selected the .img and it immediately came up with recovery image has been flashed and some options to reboot. rebooted into recovery and it's still the stock recovery...
