Droid Inc died 3 days after arrival!

On Sunday, I unplugged my Inc from the charger and it seemed a little warm but normal. I began to check my email and text messages but then got error messages saying this program has quit unexpectedly and then the phone froze. After a few minutes my Incredible powered off and then would not respond, no light when charging, nothing to indicate life. There is not visible warping or damage. How did it just stop working?

You have pulled the battery and tried to reboot, right?
 
Yea went through the whole process with Verizon tech support, they are sending a new one by July 9th. Im thinking I might want to switch to the Droid X instead.
 
You should try to argue and have them move you up the shipping list, lol. I would be ticked! Good news is maybe the X will come out and you'll be able to compare which one and perhaps convince Verizon for an exchange (even if it is slightly past your 30 days).
 
Will the 30 days reset since it will take a couple of weeks to get my new incredible?

I'm not entirely sure. I would assume that it wouldn't reset, but maybe you could get a nice Verizon rep who will allow such a reset, especially since you had troubles with the first Incredible. It doesn't hurt to try. :)
