Droid Incredible Shipping?

I, too, am a 6/5'r and hope mine ships tomorrow. I wish you didn't get a different answer with each CSR you talk to. That is so frustrating!
 
6/5r. I called today, they said it should be here tomorrow (as in delivered). Southwest here.

And, for what it's worth, the rep seemed to actually know what she was talking about.
 
Did she give you a tracking number?

That's where I'm not so sure. She said I could call back a little later (I called fairly early) and get a tracking number. So yeah. We'll see how it works out. She also confirmed overnight shipping.
 
It would be awesome. I'll definitely be waiting around for it tomorrow.

On the other hand, I'm gonna be more than a little disappointed if I don't get it tomorrow... :(
 
I'm a 6/3er who got an e-mail from a CSR just a little while ago apologizing for the delay, and saying that it would go out "tomorrow, June 24, 2010." Only, TODAY is June 24, 2010. It must have been a typo, though - since I have overnight shipping and she said I'd get it Monday. Ah well. I'm in NY, FWIW.
 
I'm hoping my phone shows up tomorrow, but its doubtful. Had no tracking number when I called around 1pm eastern time, but could have populated late due to FedEx issues related to that other phone being released. We'll see. I'm going to call the store tomorrow a few times (10a, 2pm, 6pm) to see if any info about tracking is available.
 
I'm a 6/5 and I'm just happy today that cs can find my order, it's been lost in the wonderful verizon computer system or just untrained cs people that couldn't find it or didn't care to find it. Bad news is that cs says no ship date yet just hopefully next week she said. Don't know why but I'm still holding on to hope it ships tomorrow, trying to stay positive. Just wish my bb curve would stay on for more then 30 mins, this removing battery every hour is getting real old!

Ok...so I just got off the phone with the Director for Verizon Northwest Product Fulfillment (after bitching and griping with 2 customer service reps and 2 managers and threatening some kind of legal or media action if i did not get answers to my questions since I was out $200+ for almost 3 weeks with no product and no answers towards product fulfillment). I still can't believe they put me on the phone with this guy but this is what he said....

He said he looked up the HTC Incredible unit backorder manifest for all Verizon regions. He than calculated out the shipping schedule for me based on the units expected by Verizon from HTC's current and future shipments.

Since I am on the west coast he said any phone ordered that were paid for on 6/3/2010 (phone or internet) would be shipped out on 6/24 with e-mail notification being sent on 6/25 and the phone arriving to the customers destination address on 6/26 (delivered by 2 Day Fed Ex delivery).

Than I asked him what if I ordered the phone on the 4th or 5th. He said the delivery Matrix is the same for all dates as well as all locations in the country.

So here are some examples:

ordered 6/3 - shipping on 6/24 - delivery notification 6/25 - Product Arrival 6/26
ordered 6/4 - shipping on 6/25 - delivery notification 6/26 - Product Arrival 6/28
ordered 6/5 - shipping on 6/26 - delivery notification 6/27 - Product Arrival 6/29
ordered 6/6 - shipping on 6/28 - delivery notification 6/29 - Product Arrival 6/30

...and so on and so forth.

So just plug in your order date and use the above template and you can get a very strong idea of when your phone will ship out and arrive.

Keep in mind that the above delivery matrix if for INTERNET AND PHONE ORDERS ONLY. If you ordered through a store that matrix DOES NOT apply. Also you must have PAID IN FULL for your unit as well for the matrix to apply.

That is what he told me....and that is coming from upper management at Verizon.

So they ship a day before we get notified? And in that case do those of us that have overnight shipping get it on the delivery notification day?

Either that or Verizon just cashed in on all those that think they are getting over night shipping and they are really getting 2nd day.

I guess all orders are being shipped via 2 day, even if you have overnight. I'm pissed because I ordered in store. We will see if this is true by tomorrow
