I ordered on 6/8 and I just got the notification email that my phone is shipping today and will be delivered on Thursday July 1st!

P.S. The Verizon reps are now saying the delay is 5-10 days as of last night. And "Well sir, we have no rhyme or reason why people that order later than you get their phones before you."

The month I spend waiting on this phone should count toward my New Every Two....

My supposed ship date is tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that's not happening. Should I call and request a credit? Or a free accessory or something?

The thing that is most rediculous is that this phone came out two months ago today...and there is still a 4 week+ backorder. I've heard all about the screen shortage and whatnot, but it shouldn't last for months...unless there is some worldwide shortage on glass and display materials...must not be considering 1.7 million iphones have been sold in a few days...

I've seen people mention they need to be there to sign for their phone from fedex. Really? They won't just leave it?
Also, for those of you who ordered in store (as I did) when I called to check on the status, I asked about getting the email notification and the man I spoke with told me I wouldn't get a notification because the person who took the order didn't fill in that field on their end. So, for me, I'll be a surprise as to when it's coming!

CSR "hmm well it's saying that your phone was set to ship yesterday overnight shipping to (ADDRESS)"
me "yes and that's why I'm calling today I got no tracking info yesterday, and more importantly no phone today"

I'm another 6/5er and also just got off with CS. Had no idea about anything then said it wouldn't ship until 7/9. Held while she talked to a supervisor who told her I SHOULD have a trascking number in the next couple of days. Probably said that to get me off the phone.

Made my 3rd and final call before a supervisor hears an ear-full. 611 CSR Brandon checked up on my order for me and said it looks like I was hit by the 5 day delay and since ordered on 6/5 I should have a shipping confirmation within the next two hours or tomorrow by the latest. He also said that all online orders were getting free overnight shipping. He was really easy to talk with and I just hope he knows what he was talking about. I just hope I get the phone by Friday considering I'm going to be out of town. Good luck everyone.

WTF now I am really getting pissed! People ordering 3 days after me getting their phone this madness. So much for the first come first serve!

So I ordered my Incredible on 6/7, and it was supposed to ship yesterday. I was starting to get excited until I came across this forum a few days back and realized how backed up things were. I called CS today and asked about status, and the rep told me that everything was delayed and it could be up to 10 days. I asked about switching to a Droid X and he said I could try to cancel my order and then try to order one on July 15. I said no thanks.

You can imagine my surprise when I got off the phone and 15 minutes later got my email notifying me that the phone had shipped! I got it just an hour or two after it had been picked up. I didn't get the next day shipping like I was promised (2-day instead) but it should be here Thursday by 7pm. I'm pretty happy, though of course I would rather have had it today I just had to create an account on here and post this to give other 6/7'ers some hope.

oooooh 611 says I have a pending activation woooooooohooooo it must have shipped freaking finally!! Hopefully the guy I talked to earlier put in my overnight shipping as he promised since they lied to me when I ordered. Man I feel like such a crack head needing my fix!
