I called again and the guy said that I was part of the group of people who were going to be delayed an additional 7 days. I asked why some 6/8, 6/9, and 6/10ers were shipping out from West Chester but not mine. He said he didn't know but mine should ship out on 7/5. So, I won't have it to take to my parents house this weekend but hopefully I'll have my shipping confirmation by the time I get back on Monday.

Can you tell me if the clip on that holster swivels? How does the quality of the holster seem? Phone easy to get out for a call? Thanks in advance.

6/8 onliner here, with a piece of news for ya'll.

Just got off the phone with VZ CSR, asking why I have begun seeing others here getting Fedex tracking numbers who ordered 6/8 and even 6/9, but mine still shows expected ship date of 7/6. Ready for his answer?

Anyone saying they ordered 6/8 or later and received a tracking number is lying and just trying to cause anger and dissention in the ranks.

So. Now we know.

rabble-rousing liars? HA! Listen tool bag... if your going to come up in here and start accusing people of being liars then get your jack hole self to another forum... I've found the info on this forum to be 100x's more helpful than any CSR.
And furthermore... if your going to take the word of any one CSR then tony the plumber and I have some stuff we'd like to sell you.
Collectively... we have been told thousands of different stories by thousands of different CSR's... and now because you talked to one that fooled you into not being upset because some people are getting their phones that ordered after you, we are all liars?
Do us a favor... Switch your tampon and go join an apple forum.
My little rant might get me flagged... but i'm getting my phone in a day and I'll stick up for the very helpful people on this thread any day.

Long time lurker, who has spent weeks checking the forum. Figured I could update the board on my status since I saw some people asking if the phone ever arrives early for Fed Ex 2nd Day shipping. Mine shockingly did and I am thrilled with the phone.

Ordered Incredible: 6/7 Online
Order Processed: 6/7
Promised Ship Date: 6/28
Actual Ship Date: 6/30 - Fed Ex 2nd Day
Estimated Arrival: 7/2
Actual Arrival: 7/1 - A day early!

Quick question, has anyone been able to go directly to the Fedex facility prior to the first delivery attempt and pick up their phone?

My sister and her husband ordered two Inc and they received their tracking notice today (they ordered on 6/6 in store at 11:30am EST) and delivery is scheduled for Tueday July 6th. They are leaving for vacation Saturday afternoon for a week and I figured if the phone was in the Fedex facility sitting there over the weekend that she might be able to pick up the phone before they attempt to deliver on Tuesday. I know this is *IF* the phone makes it from Memphis to Tampa between today and Saturday morning but if it does and she can pick up both of the phones that would be great.

I called Fedex to inquire about this but the person said that there has to be at least 1 delivery attempf first before someone can pick it up and that is a requirement from Verizon directly. I would have to call Verizon and have them authorized a special pick up in order for my sister to pick it up on Saturday before a delivery attempt.

Does this sound right?

@Cto the Stan: agreed 100%...who really cares what he thinks honestly though...its not really worth it when me as example...i know for a fact im a 6/8 and well i have shipping confirmation and a tracking number and a phone on the way so...yeah hes an idiot for believing any 1 CSR

I don't know of any way to tell as I haven't heard anyone confirming they received the LCD yet.

I guess an informal test would be to see how it looks in sunlight because the AMOLED is not too good in sunlight.

They changed the box. My box was white and didn't have Droid on it anywhere. I guess with all the time they had on their hands waiting on the samsung screens they redesigned the packaging.

It doesn't swivel, but it does seem like the phone would be easy to remove for answering calls. To be honest, though, I'm probably going to take it back to the Verizon store because I've decided to go with a Seidio Innocase...or I may wait and see what larger battery cases come out. Or just do the Dremel case mod...

I placed my order on June 15th-- can anyone tell me what the "estimated ship date" was then? I believe it was July 12th, but I'm not sure..
if so.. i'm hearing promising news across this side for july 12th shipping!!

Though I can't find it at the moment, I believe I read a few days ago that the DrIncs that have the LCD screen will have it prominently displayed on the packaging...
