Well glad to see another round of shipping being done .I hope Nobody has to wait as long as I did ( I think I was last one left that was a 6/8 or older ) , and the whole process is speeding up
Ok, so here is my adventure into pestering Verizon and hopefully it was a successful mission. Jury is still out on that one.
I got my shipping notification and was ecstatic as would be expected. But after the warm fuzzies of anticipation partially fulfilled ebbed I noticed that my shipping was 2 day. When I was promised 1 day. This would not be a problem and normally I would happily wait but these are trying times for my stunted patience. I mean the 4 weeks I had to wait plus the possible 7 day delay? I could take 2 days more but not 2 days spread across a holiday weekend. So I called FedEx and tried to expedite my order. That was a no go. They said if I was the original shipper I could upgrade the shipping but there was no way for me to upgrade the shipping as authorization from vzw was needed.
So then I decided to call the store I ordered from and ask them what they think. I got a nice lady who only sounded slightly uninformed and I told her my problem. She told me the same line many of you have gotten. How I would have to cancel my order, blah, blah, blah. And I let her talk for a while and then I said "well I just called FedEx and I was given the impression that the only reason I cannot upgrade my shipping is because I am not Verizon." She said "oh" so I continued with "everything seemed to be on track to expedite my package, I gave them my tracking number and confirmed the shipping address and asked about shipping and said they do offer upgrades to the original shipper, we can't have two shippers however so we couldn't split the cost. We must be authorized by vzw to charge the extra for shipping." She said "really?" I said "really." and then she took my tracking number, address, phone number (I know), and name and told me that she would follow up on this and give me a call on what she finds out.
I am not holding my breath but from my two interactions and the fact that I went to the store that sold me my phone and not the regular number give me a little hope that this will work. I am gonna call back in an hour or so to see whats up. Hopefully my phone on a truck is whats up.

6/8'er here, and I haven't heard squat apart from the $25 email. Not a happy camper.
I am a 6/8er too too in MEMPHIS but still nothing...waiting on 2 to ship.... here's hoping!!
Last word from CS was 7/6 ship to deliver 7/8- got nothing but the $25 email.....
I'm a 6/8...got email from VZW this afternoon, they shipped today. Overnight as promised, from Ontario, CA to Seattle. Whoohoo! I'll have my Incredible tomorrow after 3...I can't wait!

I received the Verizon email a few days ago about the 7-day shipping delay, $25 gift card yada yada yada, but I was much happier to receive my shipping notification today!

Ship date: 7/1
Estimated delivery: 7/6 (holiday weekend plus I have 2-day shipping - Indirect, whatever that means)

Well I'm glad to see some 6/8s going to the NW! To bad that there still aren't any 6/9s (that I know of) going out today.... Hopefully that will mean tomorrow though! There is hope yet to have it by Tue/Wed of next week. Congrats on the shipping guys
my storm 1 is really really crapping out... i hope it makes it til my expected 7/12 ship date... fingers crossed for an early surprise...
