Droid Incredible Shipping?

I got my shipping notification today! Ordered 6/11 online, scheduled to arrive on 7/9 (2 days before my birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!)

Ordered 6/12 online with a slated ship date of 7/12. Yesterday we were told it would be shipping 7/9 by two CSR's. Got the shipping confirmation today and it will be delivered tomorrow! The wait is even harder now...24 more hours hehehe.

there is hope

so my ship date is the 12th assuming i am not one of the delays that will have a 10day hold on their order according to my CSR yesterday I have a faint ray of hope that my phone will arrive in time for my 3 week business trip starting next week.

Ok so here is what I did. I called Verizon, went to the store and went online last week to get the phone and was advised about the whole backorder problem. I even went to bestbuy and the guy said I was better off getting the X because it would be here sooner. Then I made a call to a few third party stores. second one I called had 2 in stock. I told him to hold it for me and started to drive over to buy the phone. On the way to the store I called Verizon CS to ask a few questions.


1. Did the assurion insurance cover phones purchased at third party stores? Answer was absolutely provided the trial period was finished.

2. Was the 30 day trial still honored? Answer was no, the store had it's own policy and that would have to be adhered to. (Store had a 14 day trial)

3. What if any differences were there between the phone from the store and from verizon.? Answer was: Nothing.

So if you haven't ordered yet try one of the third party vendors in your area you may luck out, I went from a 7/27 possible ship date to getting the DINC on the same day I was going to order it.

im a 6/12er and just got my shipping notification. scheduled to be here before 3 tomorrow. im in west texas and its shipping from memphis.

Well I did what I didn't want to do, but I called 611 to check on the status. I saw all the other 6/12's shipping out and I just had to know.

Unfortunately the guy didn't have too much info and just said it's still slated to be shipped on Friday with 2 day shipping. I did order in the evening time from a store though, so maybe it will ship tomorrow, but I'll still have to wait until Monday for it. Boo.

I ordered in store June 13th. I am in Northern Virginia.. Haven't gotten an email yet. I've heard shipping July 9th, then i've heard the 12th so i do not know what to expect.

By the way, everyone seems to call 611? How do they have answers to shipment dates and other when they do not work for verizon or htc? Should i give it a call?

It is amazing how hot this phone is, that they just cannot keep up, but its all about the displays. I know the displays are getting tougher for the device mfg's but it is it a production issue overall from raw materials to mfg or something else.
