Droid Incredible Shipping?

cause "I, I" paid 15 bucks to go right in to the store and get it just to not deal with the bs w/ebay and crappy quality stuff. My last VZW charger lasted through 5 different mini USB devices, all my micros have been cheap, crap from costco dealer and ebay. Go ahead, no thanks.

29.99 is exactly what they have on the package, apply my corporate discount(75K VZW and Vodaphone worldwide in employees helps). But what does any of this have to do with either one of our phones getting shipped to us. You buy what you wish, and I will overpay for quality that I have enjoyed using. haha seriously i hope u didnt mention that. i just wanted to change topics in this forum about shipping, because everyone has the same problem. and hopefully the last few posts got them thinking about car chargers, and not why their phone aint here yet.

I hope that you don't fail at everything as badly as you failed at that topic change. :\

Misquote much. Ignorant how? I'm just venting, very mildly and humorously at that. Also may I point out that I have only directed envy toward those who have their phones. Those who have placed orders AFTER I had yet received their new device BEFORE I have, merely fuel the impatience and fury... again, not directed at them; it's directed at nothing in fact, hence why I vent it away.

You see, unlike most of you. I'm without a phone right now which impedes my daily life, both work and social. Because the phone's so back-ordered, I likely won't be receiving a shipping notification, let lone a device until I have to go away for a month (which is also aggravating... knowing that the device I'd been waiting a month for will be sitting in the mail room for an additional month waiting for me to play with it.) forcing me to rent a phone for my trip and pay that cost on top of what I'm already paying for service I can't use because I don't have a working VZW phone.

I really don't want to have this turn into a flame war. I really don't want to cause any more of a ruckus, but you are misunderstanding me.

I merely remarked that I have no phone. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch, none. I wasn't saying that I don't have a Droid Incredible, I said that I have no phone.

I didn't say others didn't use their phones for their work and social life. I merely was remarking that, much like if you or anyone else didn't have a phone, it would be impeding to both your work and your social life.

My ONLY assumption (that I can recall at this time of posting) was that most other people in this thread (an assumption which I had formed based on reading how other people still have blackberries or AT&T phones or older VZW phones and are awaiting upgrades, etc.) had phones and were just awaiting their NEW phone.

I understand that there MUST be other people like me, people who await their Droid Incredible so they have SOMETHING to use as a communication device.

Again, I apologize if my humor (albeit a pinch venomous at times) has put you, or anyone in this thread off. My only intention was to vent and post and bide time until I do get my new device, just like others in this thread have before me. This forum, right now, is the only thing keeping me sane (believe it or not)

When is your phone due to arrive and can't you get your phone rerouted to a more convenient location?

I'm set to leave this weekend on the 24th, which means that I have today, tomorrow, and Friday. Once I'm off on the road, there's really no more convenient place, I will just have to pick up another (most likely pre-paid device). Additionally, it is my understanding that if the shipping arrangement is made to change, they have to re-enter the order and start fresh which (even if there were a more convenient location) would put it out of my way by the time it goes through, and push it back by who knows how long.

No, waiting and misery are the best two options given my predicament. I can hope though. I still have three days right? *sad, knowing chuckle*
 
I've had packages rerouted through Fedex before...you should call and inquire.

Oh, I have too. There's been postings on this forum before though. Apparently you can't reroute or pick up from the facility because of some shipping arrangement that they have with verizon. *shrug*

Again though. I don't know where I'd send it to pick it up. I'm going to be moving so much, if I miss it by a day, it's stuck at a hotel. It's safer, easier, and possibly cheaper to just wait (if it doesn't arrive *fingers crossed*)

Seems quiet here today as far as updates go. I was hoping it would be a busy day and catch up to the 6/30 order dates...
 
No love here ordered 6/27 in store and called CS yesterday according to them device has not shipped yet on track for 7/26 ship date.

They're going to make me wait until the exact day because thats what kind of luck I have :(

Scheduled Delivery: 7/23

I called yesterday at about 6:00PM and they had no new information on a ship date.

TdK... keep an eye out for an email from "Shipments@verizonwireless.com" if you gave them your email address. Calling CS is of no help if considering mine shipped about 14 hours after I called them and was told to expect it to ship on the expected date (or maybe earlier or maybe later).

Is this where I rub in how I've had mine for almost 3 months? Be patient guys you won't regret it best phone I've ever had! You'll have tons of fun with it.
