Well, I don't remember any big deals with the Storm, Droid, any other big VZW phone so I give them the benefit of the doubt. It probably is Samsung's fault.

Well, I don't remember any big deals with the Storm, Droid, any other big VZW phone so I give them the benefit of the doubt. It probably is Samsung's fault.

I don't know how everyone has missed this a thousand times over.. it is Samsungs fault.. because AMOLED screens are just not ready for mass production like regular LCDs like in the Storm and Droid. So they weren't quite as prepared as they thought they were, so now we're just waiting on them to catch up with demand for the device. I really wish people would stop blaming Verizon, the only thing they've done wrong is confuse people with when these things will ship, but thats not entirely their fault.. they're probably just about as blind as we are about it; especially the reps you get when you get on the phone or go to a store. Because I'm 100% sure they're tired of being asked when a customer will get their Incredible.

That being said, I'm as impatient as the next guy, but I realize its not anyones fault really, I guess Samsung/HTC/VZW just underestimated how many people would actually go out and get this phone.

I'm still picking up the Sunday paper and see full page ads advertising the Incredible, knowing that Verizon doesn't care about the three week wait. I don't blame them being full throttle, this is phone is awesome and people want it, so chill!!!

Sheesh, I HATE the Storm!!!!!

lol... I been there and done that. I used to be storm 1 painful user, I been roocking a Moto Droid for about a 6 month or so and I'm awaiting on my Incredible as well. I guess with less pain because the Droid is not that bad.

I ordered 5/17 so I have a little longer to wait

BTW the ship by date on VZW's site is now 6/14.

I'm thinking it could be July before they're no longer back ordered.

I ordered mine on the 11th and I hope to get an email soon. Has anyone that has ordered online on the 11th received an email yet? (just curious) I live in FL so I'm not sure what Verizon warehouse my Inc will be coming from whenever it ships.
