Droid Incredible Shipping?

That's kinda a bummer. Really thought I'd see a bunch of people on here stating the same. I didn't do anything special. No magic account or anything. Maybe people just not posting yet. Maybe just region?.

Checked Fedex. It's already at the charlotte, nc sort facility. won't make it's way to me till june 1 unless they let you pickup there and if so might take the 20 / 30 min trip just cuz of the holiday weekend.

Received in South Florida yesterday from Memphis.

Of course, it had to happen this way. I left at 4:00 in the morning for the long weekend in the mountains. My secretary has the phone 700 miles away from where I am now and probably won't give it back.

Ordered on the 15th, shipped on the 28th. Tracker says is it at the destination sort facility in my city right now, but still says estimated arrival time is 6/1...here's to hoping they get it on a truck today!

So I called Verizon again today.... (Why do I keep torturing myself?!?!? LOL)

Interestingly enough, the CSR looked up my order number and told me that it's scheduled to be delivered on 6/7. This is good news as yesterday's CSR told me 6/11.

I guess this validates the fact that these CSR's probably don't know the real date and are as clueless as us!!

PS: My order date is 5/17 and I'm on the East coast.

I've been told that Verizon has upgraded all shipments to Saturday. But then again I heard some are being shipped over night and some are being shipped 2 day shipping...

So really, I don't know what to believe now. lol

I wouldn't believe that. Mine still shipped 2 day and it costs a bit more for Saturday shipping. The only way I could see VZW doing that is if it goes beyond the estimated ship date but since they're still shipping before that date there's really no reason for them to.

Fellow ACers...I finally got my phone yesterday at 5pm...I'm sure many of you saw my frantic posts about the long wait...

Well worth the wait though. I had it completely set up with everything my Storm 1 had and more within a couple hours.

I am now hoping I don't experience the problems that some have written about on AC.

My details are:
Ordered online 5/11
Live in Midwest
Shipped on 5/26 from Memphis, TN
Received on 5/28 @ 5pm (was supposed to be overnight...oh well)
Box included the phone and a separately packaged 2GB micro-SD card with Verizon branding and a tiny USB dongle for directly connecting the SD card to your computer. I, personally, will just be using the 8GB card from my Storm (I'm a little surprised they thought that 2GB was a good idea, whatever, don't look a gift horse in the mouth).

Hope you can all enjoy the long weekend without worrying much more about the ship date. Believe me I know exactly how you feel.

Well, for what it's worth I ordered my Phone through Amazon and I just received an email that it is shipping and I have an ETA on the delivery for June 3 - 4.

I assume you are referring to fedex shipping. Other people have said that they have to make at least one delivery attempt before you can head down to pick it up.

ordered in store on 5/14, just called fedex and they don't have anything listed for my address! this is sooo frustrating!

If anyone in the Dallas area is looking and can't wait a few best buy stores got some in. Plano and North Irving stores are showing stock right now. I was tired of waiting for my replacement so I picked one up today and returned my defective one to Verizon and had them cancel my replacement order. I had already paid full price for this phone at launch as I wasn't upgrade eligible so it made me even more impatient using a defective phone. Worked out well but full retail is 70 more at Best Buy.

OK..wtf. I called Fed Ex earlier today to see if they have a package in the system for my address. I was told there is one scheduled for delivery on 6-2. In my excitement, I forgot to get the tracking number. I called back and now a rep told me there is no package in the system for my address. How can this be???

I just searched the forum and couldn't find an answer. I ordered from a Verizon store on 5/20 and was wondering what the ship by date was on their web site. Any help would be appreciated.

I said with my fingers crossed. This is like waiting for Christmas...
