Droid Incredible Shipping?

Assuming someone is home to sign for it.

Just a reminder, Verizon ships phones with an indirect signature required. If nobody is home, they will not leave package.

Can you not leave a signed note for them to leave the package?

So I called my corporate rep on May 27th to order the Incredible. I was all excited to get it next week (hopefully). However our secretary didn't push the 'notification of order' until yesterday! And the worst part...I'm using a 4 year old blackberry as a back up! Sold my Storm and Tour to offset the cost of the Incredible.
The only thing keeping me satisfied is reading these forums.

i ordered my incredible 5/24 at like 6am online, quoted will ship by 6/11 (i think) no confirmation yet... still waiting...

While it's encouraging to now see that 5/22 orders are shipping. It's discouraging not to get a notification yet for my 5/22 order. I've tried to be patient. (Oh, how I've tried!) But I'm now struggling with patience!!!!

I just ordered 2 Incredible phones this weekend. I am hoping it won't take forever, but I am currently using the Nexus One so it's not like I am hurting. I am just fed up with AT&T's crappy service.

Ordered a replacement May 24. None available locally. Told by VZW rep that they were out in the warehouses. Shipment due to them on June 14 and phone will be overnight shipped to me then. I cant say if this is the "exception or the rule"... All I can say is it's been a LONG wait.

My Incredi Fleet is in!!

Ordered 5 phones on May 19... they got sent to the WRONG ADDRESS yesterday!!!

Of course.. My assistant (and myself ) were driving all over looking for the phones...

We stormed the FedEx office asking where it was.

Then we went to where it was dropped off to retrieve them.

Unfortunately... they opened 1 and played w/ it some.

Update on my phone.. My hubby had to leave for a few minutes so he left a note on our front door with the tracking # and the reference # on it. He explained that he had to leave for a few but they could leave it if they wanted. Turns out they decided to come by while he was out.. Now here's what my tracking shows:

Signed for by: Signature release on file

Jun 8, 2010 11:33 AM Delivered MOUNT CARMEL, TN
Left at front door. Package delivered to recipient address - release authorized

Just ordered my HTC Droid Incredible yesterday from the store. The guy told me that I should get it within two to three weeks and that some of them have been shipping earlier than the estimated date that the site posts.

My wife's Eris just came in and I want to play with it. However, i cant activate service until she is home from work (she needs to use her current cell phone), so I guess I got to wait! (unless I can hook up to WiFi without service activated to and start setup and downloading).
