Droid Incredible Shipping?

OMG I just got an email from VZW and got SO excited. Sadly, this is all it said:

Just got the same damn email! I don't need the $25 gift card as I already have all of my accessories *sigh*
 
Just got the same email from VZW:
7 day delay, $25 gift card, we're sorry.

So I have To say to everyone out there who is pissed about this to remember that everyone kept saying "just send us an email and keep us informed".

So they did exactly that + $25.

I want my phone as much as the rest of you - but trying to see this objectively.
 
did you notice the thing that says if your ship date was the 28th or earlier? maybe well get lucky

or maybe a seperate one will go out for people who were supposed to ship after the 28th saying your delay is 10 days lol... sorry, I should be more optimistic. :p

haha yeah right after i posted that i was thinking the same thing, gonna get another email saying __ day delay? dont even wanna think about that but ill call 611 everyday until my phone ships
 
I got that letter too - ordered on 6/9 - as I posted earlier when i called today the CSR promised it would be shipped tomorrow...... sigh.

My promised ship date was 6/30 when I ordered.

Yeah I'm a 6/30 and I was told not 4 hours ago that it was still supposed to ship tomorrow so maybe we aren't affected, which seems weird. You would think they would catch up on the affected orders before doing newer ones, but I guess they would have to send out more gift cards if they did that because our orders would be late then too...
 
I know. At least they emailed. But that still doesnt help my issue of not being in town now when the phone is going to ship

yeah i was told it should ship tomorrow...was originally today so thats not horrible considering others are getting huge delays but i guess ill find out when they get my call tomorrow afternoon
 
I just got the same email about the delay. But if I call CS then they tell me I don't have an account so they can't help me because I'm starting new service and have never activated a line. Ordered 6/5 In-Store
 
Annnnnnd I just had to pull my battery on my blackberry for the 3rd time today. Its like VZW hates me

I know that feeling.I finally got my Incredible today & when I was activating the Incredible, the Storm was driving me crazy, I had to do 2 battery pulls earlier today. Thankfully my Incredible was delivered around 1:30pm, so I have been in smartphone heaven for the past 9 hours. :D
 
Mine was supposed to ship today, but as of 7:45 CST, it had not according to CS, and they could not give me any other firm info. Then at about 10 pm tonight, I got the email...hmmm. Mine was supposed to ship on the 29th email says "28th or prior", so I really do not know what to think.
 
I've been lurking here since I ordered my phone and have been patiently and impatiently waiting for my shipment like the rest of you. I ordered in-store on 6/4 and started calling up *611 after my ship date has passed. I've been told everything that's already been heard here from 5 days delayed shipping to mid-July estimates. The most accurate information was from two representatives who informed me of a three day delay. My estimated ship date was 6/25 and the actual ship date was 6/29, today. This seems about right since most of the early June orders have been shipping approximately 1-3 days late as well and no later. Hope this eases some of those still waiting. I feel your pain.

I ordered mine 6/9 in store. Called Friday, which was my estimated ship date to see if they had a tracking number, gave me a number that was not a tracking number, and was rudely handled by a Fed-Ex person on the phone. Went in today to the store and was told it was shipped today, so hopefully I will see it within a day or two.

Promised Delivery Date: 6/28
2nd Promised Delivery Dt: 6/29
3rd Promised Delivery Dt: 6/30 or 7/1

I called *611 & talked to VZW CSR this afternoon to try and get a tracking number and was told my phone would ship tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

2 hours later I get the email saying 7 day delay and offering me a $25 VZW gift card for my trouble. Ugh...Verizon Worthless.

This better be one Incredible phone because this fiasco is as bad as the last fiasco with the POS Env Touch I bought from Verizon prior to this. 5 replacements on that one..serious. What a dog. Can't wait to skip it across the lake when I get my D-Inc.

GAwd..is it too much to ask to just get a PHONE and one that WORKS from Verizon?
