I was hoping for battery improvements as well. The last OTA slaughtered my battery life. I factory reset twice, and I still haven't come close to numbers I was seeing when I first got my phone. Its not battery depreciation either.

My phone is awake more with the screen off. The kernel needs to be updated, thats where a majority of the wakelock comes from. At first I didn't want to root and go ROM/Kernel searching, but I may just have to now...

The battery has improved and the speed is great. Downside. No new dialer. Its still Jellybean. More bloatware

Two minor things I have noticed. First the phone recognized by faster Wireless at my house. Second the wallpaper extends further up on the home screen.

Update went well, but now no visual voice mail 57 min with tier 1 then tier 2. trouble ticket to network technical support

Note: Motorola does periods of push until they make it available for pull. Your location does not matter.

I'm still holding onto 4.2.2 for tethering. If anyone knows a reliable way to root or otherwise maintain wifi tethering and get up to date, I'd love to hear it.
