Droid Maxx 4.4 Fix coming within "Days"

The only thing I notice is the transparent status bar, which I'm personally not a fan of.

Huh? The only place there is a transparent status bar is on the lock screen. The bar on mine still has the black background unless I'm missing something?

I am now using GW and ISIS downloaded from PlayStore. I could not do that on 4.2.2! For me that is a BIG BIG difference.

I use Isis on 4.2.2 just fine. I use root cloak to hide root. Even got $50 for free setting up Amex serve...

Got the update OTA and it has broken bluetooth for me. Previously the phone worked great with Sync my car. Now it doesn't connect. I tried unpairing and repairing the device and it worked for a minute then the bluetooth disconnected. Way not happy...

Try doing a factory reset. It might be cache from Jelly Bean.

After my 4.4 OTA update, my phone is shutting down randomly every 10-20 minutes. I have to assume my phone is turned off if it has been in my pocket for any length of time. It also means, I need to dig out an alarm clock, because, like this morning, I know it won't be waking me up for work at 5:45 tomorrow morning. On a plus side, my battery life is great!

I did a factory reset, but it did not resolve the issue.

I did a factory reset, but it did not resolve the issue.

If a factory reset didn't solve it, it sounds like it's time for a warranty replacement.

Mine mysteriously shut down three times last week. Had the update since the soak and never happened till then. Seems to be doing OK so far post reset.

I had tried that previously. It did seem to make things more responsive.

Prior to KitKat, my phone randomly reset itself twice, both after running for about 21 days without a restart. (It did not power down but restart.) So far since doing an FDR after the KitKat update the phone has been running 28 days 12 hours and counting.
