Droid Maxx battery problems...

My phone loses battery life very quickly or very slowly. Sometimes I leave my phone charge over night and I very rarely get it to 100%. Sometimes my phone reaches about 15%, so I plug it in and come back to it a couple minutes later and find that it has dropped to 3% while charging. Phone charges very slowly. Help please!

It sounds as if the battery has about had it. Even treating the battery very well (never allowing it to drop below 40%, never allowing it to get too hot, or using it when it's too cold), 4 years is a lot to ask of it. You probably just need a new battery. (You can get them for about $10-$15, but I'd strongly recommend against trying to do it yourself - take it to a repair shop. And back up everything [see Backing up an Android Device], because some shops, to make sure that you can't accuse them of stealing your data, do a factory reset in front of you before doing anything else.)
