I have heard that the droid over seas has the multi touch and the one we have can in theory do this feature. However it seems that it is no were to be found. is there any apps that will make it work out there ?
What you've heard is true, the european version of the Droid does have multi-touch, the hardware does support it. There are no apps that enable it. Rumor has it that it'll be supported in a future version but AFIK it's only rumor.
I hope somebody chimes in and says I'm full of it and that it's definitely coming!
I really want Multi touch in web browsing .
I hear that there is a photo App that lets you use multi touch. However it could have been on a euro device.

Yep, me too. Although double tap works, I always double tap and then have to size smaller which is a pain.
You can adjust in the browser setting the size(default zoom) you want after a double tap. I have mine set to far and it seems to work good for me.
This.It is true that the Droid hardware supports multitouch... I've seen it in the Picsay app. I believe it is a thing with apples "rights" to putting two fingers on a screen. So, ideally, a software update some day will enable it for the keyboard or the browser.
Side note though... I don't even like the pinch zoom gesture... I much prefer double tap because you don't have to change how you are holding the phone.
Its really not that practical. Most people just like it because it looks cool.
