Motorola promised the update or $100 and I think I read on a couple websites the RAZR would be getting the update its just no time frame was given. But I'm not looking for it until after Christmas because the RAZR HD series isn't even slated to get it until end of 2012.

I've seen plenty of complaints about ICS on the RAZR, which, founded or not, are concerning.
That being said, nothing replicates pure AOSP on a phone built for pure AOSP. Nothing. Android v. Android-based.
