Droid stuck on Motorola boot screen after Froyo - please help!!

Okay, I followed Droid-Life's guide for updating to Froyo. I did everything as it said, I did the same thing for 2.1. Now my Droid won't get beyond the white circle with the Motorola 'M' in it.

First, I left it for twenty minutes... nothing.

Then I pulled the battery, same problem.

I've even booted into recovery and attempted to update again, but it fails.

What should I do?

Well it seems it did not flash correctly.

After looking at the post:
I would say just try it again, or flash back to 2.1 (I imagine Google will have links for you)

Nope.

hmm.. I just ran it on my dads, it stuck at the droid eve for about 2 minutes, but it's flawless now.. trying to get the phone back from him to run linpack

Yep, use RSD Lite to flash back to 2.01, then download the zip file to update to 2.1 again.
