You can get a 32GB in ballistic nylon. Or did you want the 64GB in black metalized kevlar?

My niece works for Verizon and mentioned that the threads on the nylon sometimes comes off. Also, I worry that dirt and grime get stuck in there. Also, I don't want a phone case, so I will probably go with the kevlar model.

Your niece is right to a point. The nylon will fray around the Motorola logo and the camera cutout. I take a lighter to it from time to time to clean it up around those areas. Dirt and grime can get caught in the nylon, but it is pretty easy to clean out just from wiping with a towel. I was kind of leary of the nylon when I first got it because I don't like to use cases, but I can see this phone staying in good shape during the duration of the contract.

Tough decision. I really want 64 because I like to have a lot of music on it. The phone is my radio station for the car.

Imho 64gb is the way to go, at least as a "just in case" thing. You don't want to be a few months down the road with the 32gb suddenly needing a few extra gb. Though I'd also suggest getting a case, just in case. I like the the no-case feel, but one unlucky drop and, you never know... And that way the texture of the back doesn't really matter.

Go with it. I got it because I have a ton of music on my phone, and 32gb will just not cut it. Especially with each photo being 4mb or so, and 4k video taking up a ton of space.

Don't worry about the nylon getting dirty. You can pick out any dirt that goes into it, and it doesn't really hold dirt either. Plus pouring water on the back is a pretty cool party trick that gets everyone going haha.

I picked up the 64 today. Then when getting my mail this evening, I saw I got coupon from Verizon for $50 off. I am hoping I can use that, I will have to call tomorrow.

^^ I would think that you can, because you could just march your DT back in there tomorrow, return it, then buy another with the coupon. So, they can just save you the step of returning and give you the credit for the coupon. Congrats, great choice! Welcome to 'club 64'!

I ask for the entire $50 bucks off. If you return a device, there will be the $35 restocking fee so you'd net $15. $15 bucks is $15 bucks though.
