You all should just stop looking at this thread, which is forcing you to respond like a bunch of 12 year olds. The last page and a half have had nothing to do with the OP's issues, it's just a bunch of kids squabbling. It reminds me of the CrackBerry Storm forum.
To the OP...The X is a great phone. For me, it's much more functional and enjoyable than any BB I ever owned, but that's just me. The OS is VERY different and that means you have to learn some different ways of doing things. For some, it's not worth it (I think that's sad). You may not like it and if that's the case, go ahead and switch to something else. There is no reason to have a phone that you don't like, but the only way to get something that is a perfect fit for you is to become an electrical engineer, buy a factory and design your own device. Otherwise, it's all about figuring out what's most important to you and compromising on the rest of it.
As to your X, if you want to try and make it work, I'd recommend doing a factory reset on the deice, download LauncherPro right away (for a smoother, faster UI) and go from there.
