I really like this phone if it would F******* work! For SOME reason all my facebook contacts arent showing up so if I add someone new to my contact list and want to link their number to their facebook... I CANT cause the random person just isnt showing up. The phone is super laggy and I have only pandora and flashlight installed. Seems like everything the phone does is just Half-a**ed. Can someone PLEASE help me like this phone. I waited a month for it and almost want to just go back to my 9650. No it doesn't have as many apps but seems like every app in the droid market has some sort of problem. Also Im on a mac how the hell do I sync my droid x with my music OTHER than removing the micro and putting that into the computer.

Completely power the phone off. Something must be hanging it up. Came from a tour. Phone is amazing.
Agree, power cycle the device. If that doesn't work, try reformatting the memory card. A corrupted memory card can cause a lot of lagging and freezing problems.
I use Salling Media Sync on my iMac to sync iTunes and iPhoto with my phone. DoubleTwist and Instinctiv are a couple of other options.
Did you try a Droid Incredible before purchasing the Motorola X?

The X is ten times the phone the Bold is. I own both and the Bold is a sick joke put out by RIM, especially with OS 6.

The first app you should have installed is launcher pro. it smoothed everything out for me right away. Not sure what to tell you about facebook contacts. I added my fb account and it synced all my contacts, and if i added a new one it would grab their fb profile picture and put it in my phone.
Your right ! there are 10 threads JUST LIKE MINE. And guess what I DID COMMENT ON THEM. and still no reply so this is where my sarcasm comes into play. My thread is about my phone not sync'ing all of my facebook friends and also the lag of the phone.
10X better? Are you crazy? The Bold does what it is supposed to do, and does it well, without having to charge the battery after half a day with above-average use. I just returned an X, so I know what I am talking about. I also have a Droid 2, and I love Droids, but the battery life sucks. And I can read the screen in the sunlight on a BB, but not on a Droid 1, 2, or X.
And how would you know about OS 6, when an official hasn't even been released?
We haven't reached the proper DefCon alert level yet; give it a couple more hours...

I'd agree with 10 times better. If you only got a half day out of the battery you were doing something wrong
No phone is 10 times better than a Bold, and they will SMOKE an android phone in battery life, and screen visibility. I'm not saying that android is a bad phone, as I like them very much, but different phones fit different people. BB's just seem to work better for me with texts, e-mails, and phone calls. Other things, the droid is better, but not those 3 things. Oh, and screen visibility.

I've had builds of it for three weeks. RIM is screwed if they think BB6 can compete with everything else out there.

You're just flat out wrong about the battery. I'd certainly consider my use above average and I routinely go 18-26 hours between charging, have gone as long as 39 hours, but admittedly that was only a few hours with the display on and maybe 20 minutes of voice calls.
I'm not the only one easily making it through the day. Look around, I'd say people only getting a half day are certainly the minority
