Shouldn't have haptic feedback

The option is there for haptic feedback but it doesn't seem to work. That's the main reason I switched back to the stock keyboard. I like having the haptic feedback. The key clicking sound does work, but I find it quite annoying.

Go to Settings>Language & Keyboard and make sure multi-touch keyboard is enabled. You'll be good then

i appreciate that. i stubled upon it when using the wifi keyboard and was coming back to report my goofiness. thanks for lookin' out.

It's fixed on one of the mods on xda-developers. They also managed to get haptic working on those too.

i know Im late to the party, but I just DL'd and looks good so far. I hated the stock keyboard because the arrows were easily hit by mistake.
this one seems to fix that.
Wish there was a calibration tool, but seems to do well without so far.

Take a look at HTC_IME mod. It's the HTC keyboard without those damned arrows.

For awhile it was my perm replacement, but i've since switched to swiftkey keyboard.

Ill check out that other one. I do kinda like how the HTC one had the ? on the main screen and a couple other things I dont remember until I jump back to it to realize lol.

It's word prediction engine is amazing. It can sometimes predict whole sentences for me..

hmmm. I shut off word prediction because it got on my nerves.
I just installed the HTC mod and trying that now. Deff better with no arrows, but still see the 123key being a problem by being right next to the (.) key. i would always hit that when trying to hit (.) on the stock keyboard.
Im gonna give this one a whirl for a little and then maybe try the swiftkey and see.

I like the Droid X one though too. Couple miss types i think because of the key spacing, but not a big deal. im sure Ill do it with any keyboard.
wish the .com button was still in one of these variances. that was nice to have

Looks like this HTC mod takes up like 3.7% cpu if Im looking at it correct. CRAZY!
