Ok, I got it to work on my DX running rooted GB .596

I wasn't able to use this .apk because of the previously mentioned reason it it needed an update.
I had initially installed the updated version and it said the same thing but after deleting each one a few times for some reason the updated version worked.

none of the links work for me, and Ive tried multiple forums, ive downloaded the apk on my pc, drag it to my phone, and when I try to retrieve it on my phone it keeps coming back with the message "there is a problem parsing this package"

stock droid x with the gingerbread OTA.

anybody have similar problems and a work around?

I was using the package installer from the phone. Just downloaded astro file manager, and was able to unpack it. everything works fine now.

Ok I am running into the same issue. I downloaded the new .apk file that was link in this thread but have a question.

Do I need to remove the old netflix app and then remove the file from my phone before installing the new file?

I have not had a single problem with GB. I also helped install for 2 people at my work who know nothing about android. Went perfect.
For every person that has had a problem there are 50 or more that have not had a single problem with it.

Anyone else notice a slight picture quality difference from the pre GB ver. to this one? I noticed the picture is not as clear now.. Maybe its just me, but i swear it looked a little better to me before..
