I'm going to try the master reset route and hope that fixes it, if not, I'm going to exchange it. If that doesn't work, my Blackberry is getting re-activated.
I appreciate all the suggestions. But if the answer to this does come down to having to not use any push features, setting longer intervals for syncs and data, etc., then I no longer understand the allure of Android. My Blackberry was delivering all my emails from all 5 accounts, all Facebook notifications(including posts to my wall) instantly to my single inbox, with gps always left on, a minimum of a an hour of web browsing, probably 30 mins to an hour of Google maps using the gps(more if I forgot to close it), and 1-2 hours of phone per day, and leaving me with at least 60% after 10 hours off the charger.
So I probably need to be asking if that same usage is possible with a Droid X. I'd even be happy with 30-40% battery left.
If that doesn't sound within the realm of reason, then please let me know, because then I'll just have to delay my transition to Android and stick with BB for now.
