Droid X Shipping on August 23!

I did an online order and everything was emailed to me, IDK about store orders.

Also: Day 1 with my DX, this thing is amazing! I left for work at 0430, and have barely put it down since. got down to 20% in 7 hours, that's not bad for the amount of playing I have done with it, lots of browsing and app downloading and a few calls. A friend also gave me the heads up an a Droid 2 for a ridiculously good price that my wife is picking up sunday for herself.

Well as impatient as i am i called and they just told me that orders placed on 28,29,30 will ship by no later than the 13th.....so if thats true looks like at least another week for me...........BOOOOOO

I ordered from a VZW store on 8/22 in the afternoon. I haven't recieved any info yet as to when its shipping, but I can wait.

I do have to say that whenever my Storm 1 beeps with a new email, I jump up and check it hoping that there will be good news.

They never sent me any tracking info, but I just called CS and got my tracking number!

Jljn88, what time did you order your phone on the 27th? Just curious because I didn't order mine till around 6pm the night of the 27th.

Also I'm kinda annoyed at all these people getting thier X before I do! I saw that a couple of people who ordered on the 27th are getting it on the 7th! WTH! Mine says the 8th by 7PM

Boo!! I ordered my phones in store, on 8/27. They promised shipment by 9/6, which is today. Not updates on any shipment, and there are people on here that ordered their phones on 8/28 and 8/29 that are getting shipped already. Not fun!

Okay, have not received any emails, but checked on the order status page, and it is showing as shipped, with tracking info. Checked it out, and my X's were picked up from West Chester, PA, on the way to me in NJ. Delivery on Thursday the 9th, by 7:00 PM. Now I'm excited!

Mine's coming quicker than promised as well. Ordered 8/31 from Verizon's website, promised to ship on 9/16. Email shipping confirmation today, will be here tomorrow. WOOOOOOOO!

You guys are getting me excited with the possibility that it will take less than 10 days to ship, my heart sunk when I was told none were in stock this weekend and I'd have to wait 2 weeks... especially given that my storm had already been out a week. I live in PA as well, it seems they are all coming out of the northeast. Fingers crossed!

Woohoo, Mine arrived today at 12:30. I had to leave school early for it LOL. Been playing with it ever since and I have noticed a lot of pros and cons. My Storm 2 seems to be plainer with a touch more options. I'll use it for a little while and see if I get into the groove, if not...
