I got my Droid X yesterday and never once did I get a confirmation email. I will say, that if you did an alternate upgrade like I did, then you may not get the email.

When I mean alternate upgrade, I took my wife's upgrade on our family share plan, and she'll take mine when my line is eligible for an upgrade Feb of next year.
