Hey guys, I'm using z4root to root my DX2 and the app keeps crashing half way through the installation, I've tried a regular reboot and took the battery out but it's still doing it. Any suggestions on something else that might help me out?

It might not work. There was a patch in Froyo that closed the hole apps were using to gain root access. The Gingerbreak app says it might root Froyo devices.
