Drop AT&T and go MetroPCS, here's why...

I did my so called research. Coverage map was great, answered all my questions. So I switched. Every day, for 14 days now, rarely will my phone connect to the network. Or I'm on edge.... oh, I have 4 bars on signal. But the phone is useless except as a ebook reader, basically.

Buyer beware, indeed!

Never ever trust coverage maps from carriers.

I'm always reevaluating my services and Bills.

I just switched from Verizon (paying $128 a month for 3 lines and family share pool of 5 gig) to Cricket Wireless where I now have dedicated 2.5 gig per phone and now have 5 lines. I pay 98 a month for Cricket and have 2 more llines. No overages EVER (they throttle down to 2G if you reach 2.5 gig) but you still get data service and never pay a dime more. I ported 3 lines and added 2 more for the kids.

Cricket is owned by AT&T and uses the same towers/network.
AT&T bought them as a prepaid carrier.

Game Stop is a cricket dealer. Do everything right there in the store.

Same here but i went from AT&T to Cricket. No regrets. Same coverage but only $35 per month. It works for me.
