Drop test of note 2 looks promising.

Nice to see that the Note 2 can take a little 'common use' abuse. I'm fairly sure that a focused point impact to the screen from the shoulder and ear height drops would result in a damaged screen but a fall to a flat surface just may be a non-event. In 14 years of use I have yet to damage a smartphone or PDA (knock on wood) and I expect that trend to continue uninterrupted with my Note 2. It's nice to see some durability in the Note 2's build to assist should I inadvertently attempt to damage this one.

The drops were pretty parallel to the ground. We need some more corner drops to really see if the screen will crack.

Well, the thing is...if the phone is balanced a certain way to avoid direct corner drops....well, that's a good thing too. I saw another drop test video where the guy tried 3 times in a row to get it to fall flat on the screen, but it always sort of landed on the edge with the result being that the back cover and the battery flew out instead of the screen taking a hit.
