Upside is another option. I'm pretty sure Square trade is an All State ins company if that helps in your decision...Thanks Mustang, will check into it.

Yes it is. Don't have Allstate insurance but looks like reviews are pretty good. Went on and got Square Trade last month, we shall see. Thanks for the suggestion of Upside. Had never heard of them before.Upside is another option. I'm pretty sure Square trade is an All State ins company if that helps in your decision...
Excellent my friend and you made a good choice.. at the end of the day we all get tempted with the new tech.. as you can see there's plenty of us around here to keep each other company with our spending issues LOL...Well looks like for me I have held off going with the s22 ultra. Happy for whatever decisions others make about it. My biggest problem has always been wanting the latest phones but since retiring I am having to hold off doing that! The s22ultra is a beautiful phone and I will say I was tempted. Kept bouncing back and forth about it. I guess I will have to enjoy everyone else's comments on that phone. In all honestly just a few months ago I was so in love with the fold 3 that I figured out a way to sell some of my other tech to purchase this used fold 3 (silver). Paid a little over $1000 for it and there were two cases with that deal.. Samsung's spen case and their leather case. Both new in the box. Kept the leather case on it for a couple of months, and just a few weeks ago I started using the spen case. Being retired and at home it works for me.
One reason I started this thread was trying to help me decide NOT to move to the ultra. Again happy for whatever others decide, like cars and everything else its really up to the individual. In fact, like others have done if I wasn't retired I probably would have gotten the Ultra and kept the fold3.. Anyway, thanks to everyone posting what they were doing, it helped me in the madness of what shall I do. Maybe I am breaking this bad habit of getting the latest, greatest.
Love the people on this site. Have been coming here since my Note 2....

Like you, I am on the fence. But after all the connection problems I have been having with my Z Fold 3 with Tmobile I am excited to see how this new 5G antenna works in the S22. I will try out both phones when it comes in and keep the one I like best!
You have 15 days from the day you received the phone to return it no restocking fee... Go on your app or on the web login to your account find the order to start a return and get a pre-paid return labelDid you order from Samsung?
Does samsung charge a restocking fee if I decide to keep my fold 3 and return the s22 after using it?
I've googled this question but there's no clear answer so I thought I'd ask here.
Does the no restocking fee apply to all branded phones or just the unlocked ones? ThanksYou have 15 days from the day you received the phone to return it no restocking fee... Go on your app or on the web login to your account find the order to start a return and get a pre-paid return label
I think it's all phones I don't think there's anywhere on the site that says you will be get a charge if you order a carrier phone...Does the no restocking fee apply to all branded phones or just the unlocked ones? Thanks

Thanks for the response KupKrazy. Great plan. Holding on to my ZF3 because my tired old eyes need the big screen! But I will say I miss my Note phones from time to time while out and about. Had every Note from Note 2 to the 10+ except for the Note 5. Plus like many others had two Note 7's!The S22 Ultra will become my daily driver, but I'm not leaving my ZF3. I think folding phones, or things like scrollable phones are the future, so even though my ZF3 turns in my secondary phone - I am watching to see what the ZF4 will bring. Nothing will beat being able to instantly watch a video or look at my pics on a big screen like the Fold. Being a picture buff, seeing my pics instantly on the big screen is an experience like no other. I personally just need a few more refinements before it becomes my daily driver again. The ZF3 showed me what is capable and I'm really excited for the future of foldables, and also really interested in Samsung's scrollable concept phone. I doubt I'll ever actually leave the foldable/scrollable world now that I've stepped in it.
Sounds like a great plan. I also love the size of the spen on the fold. Use it a lot more than I did on my Note phonesI have been using the S22 ultra. It's a good phone, gets a little hot. I picked up my fold 3 today and used the Spen. It feels so much better to use the Spen on the fold 3, feels normal. I'm going to definitely go back to it. I have to flash it to Verizon firmware this weekend then it's back to the fold.
I might just go to it now, I can call Verizon and have them turn video calling back on.
I will be honest..I wish I could use both the same time. The S22 ultra feels better in the hands, it's a solid phone. It just comes down to that I like the fold 3 and use it open all the time unless on the go. I use the Spen on the fold 3 all the time, hardly used it on the S22U. Using the Spen feels more natural sized on the fold 3 and bigger screen feels better to use it on also. Fold 3 does not run as hot as the S22U doing the same things. The fold 3 has better signal. The S22U does have a great battery life, better then the fold 3. The camera is good on the S22U, I'm not big on cameras but I'll give the camera is improved.Sounds like a great plan. Definitely the same experience on the Note 20U that's on the S22U and that's what makes me love it so much even though I still have my Note 20U. As you stated we're phone fanatics and like new and shiny things. I just like being able to pick up whatever phone I want to use for the day and having a good experience so what if it cost me to spend a lot of moneyI will be honest..I wish I could use both the same time. At the end of the day, the fold 3 wins for me. If you've used a note 20U or even a note 10+ you already know what the S22U is like. Don't feel like you're missing anything much different on the S22U. From what I've seen you post, I think you would be disappointed leaving the fold 3. Sometimes we get hyped up on a phone because it's new, I know I do.
I would go back and forth between the 2 phones, but I have a Samsung watch and I have to reset that each and every time I change phones. Samsung needs to set it to so we can have at least 2 phones link to the watch.Definitely the same experience on the Note 20U that's on the S22U and that's what makes me love it so much even though I still have my Note 20U. Yep, I resisted getting the s22u MAINLY because I couldn't afford to own it and the z fold 3. I agree with you I love the feel of the spen on the fold 3 and with my old retired eyes the main screen is so much better on me. I too would liked to have own both but being retired won't let me do that. There is no way I would give up this phone but have to admit I got caught up in the hype of the pre-order deals.I will be honest..I wish I could use both the same time. Yep have the Samsung gear s3 and that would be another problem that I hadn't thought about by owning two phones. Not sure why Samsung is doing this.I would go back and forth between the 2 phones, but I have a Samsung watch and I have to reset that each and every time I change phones.
