Dropped phone, stuck in boot, dead screen- how can I recover data?

I don't think it will qualify for the screen replacement since it looks like it is cracked under the glass. It is stuck in the start boot. I've tried connecting it to the computer, but it wasn't recognized. I know I have to replace the phone, my concern at this point is how to recover my pictures of my son. Thanks for any advice.

They may be backed up somewhere. Were you using google +? Or one drive or an app like that ?

I backed things up before Christmas, but not since then.

DoyouFanBoyBro has a good point, Mary Kate. Check your Google+ photo albums, all of my photos automatically back up to there as soon as they are taken. You might also want to check your Verizon Cloud account to see if they are there as well.

I wuold still contact verizon and motorola about the free screen replacement. Might as well as you have nothing to loose
