Dropped!

So last nite I drop my Captivate from about a 4 ft high countertop to hard tile floor. Luckily it hit the corner so it seems to be ok for now...do most folks use a protector of sorts? I think I saw the light on that...

If I were you, I would buy a case.

I got it last month and it's pretty amazing.
It doesn't break or anything when you drop it.

I have a similar one that I got at the AT&T store - it's a bodyglove, designed for the Captivate. I've also got a screen protector on it - between the two, I'm good. I've only dropped it once or twice, though (I'm notorious for dropping phones).

Otterbox is coming out with versions for all the Galaxy S phones soon - might have to investigate that.

I felt the same way. The other day, as I was pulling it out of my jeans' pocket, it fell out. I 'd say it was what, a 3-3.5 foot drop, onto concrete. It hit the top right edge and bottom right edge also. They're scratched up, but after you wipe it away...you can barely tell when using the phone.

I use a case, but not a screen protector. The screen is too good to cover it up.
