Dropping prone storm owner to TB

Hey storm owner here, I ordered my TBolt but I have a tendency of dropping that brick. Its funny everything is scratched or chipped, except for the coverless glass screen ;D. I mean I don't drop it everyday, but once month.

What should I Need to buy for the case/screen cover*do the anti glare impair the screen?

Anti glare will take away from the screen clarity. I prefer a normal screen protector. SPG makes the best clear one and their anti-fingerprint/glare is actually very good too.

As far as cases- Otterbox makes probably the best series but they're not out yet. So just take your pick. There's a few threads in the accessory forum with case recommendations and pics.

How are those silicon cases verizon has or just in general about who ever makes em, do they absorb damage or are they just for scratches?

They'll absorb/lessen impact force to a degree. How much idk.
But anything that reduces the force over time is good. So a big spongy one would be best. It's like the difference between jumping off a building and hitting the sidewalk, or hitting one of those huge inflatable pillows used for movie stunt men.

Ok the one thing was, isn't the EVO the same exact design as the T-Bolt? *Case wise?* * I think the stand was wider though, but wouldn't the Otter Evo case work? I take it because no one is talking about it, would be that is somehow different.

It might work. The kickstand definitely wont deploy unless you cut the case. Also the Camera protrudes more on the EVO. And the location of the mics, camera, and ear speaker might be different. You'd basically have to buy one and custom fit it.

If you do and it's not a huge hassle then let us know. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.



EDIT: on second glance the EVO is pretty different in the location of external features, It'd be a heavy mod to make the case fit.
