DT2 not capable of simultaneous data/voice when using HD calling?

I have HD calling turned on. I'm in a 4G area. Every time I place a call I lose all data. I thought the DT2 was capable of both so long as you were using HD calling over 4G?

To clarify - do you have Advanced Calling 1.0 enabled on the line and phone?

I believe so. It could be this flaky phone that is getting replaced. It keeps dropping all data randomly. Sometimes I have to restart it to get it back.

That could be it. Even with Advanced Calling on, the phone will change to CDMA for calling (so it can't do voice and data) if there is no LTE connection at the time of the call.
