In a cloned app (aka Dual App or Messenger) - which for example lets you have two Reddit accounts - does removing second version wipe only its data or that of both copies?
Online articles about Androids in general suggest the original copy of app is untouched when you wipe the second.
But when I look at data & cache for both copies in my Xiaomi (running MIUI 14) they are identical in size. And the system warning when you go to remove the 2nd version is ambiguous. "All data will be removed" could mean for data for both. Which would be disastrous for some apps.
(I tried asking Xiaomi forum but it's pretty dead).
