dual SIM support?

need dual-SIM support for world travel.

I use t-mobile in the US. want to be able to add a local SIM at times.

I heard t-mobile will support eSIM next year.

something tells me google wants project-fi to rule.

LG V30 looks nice, do not see dual-SIM support.

Galaxy S8 plus international maybe.

If T-Mobile will eventually support eSIM then the Pixel 2 and 2 XL might work for you for dual-SIM support. You could use the physical SIM slot for local cards when overseas.

Sounds good to me, we will see if Google will support dual-SIM standby. would be next year for t-moblie. in the meantime I may pickup a used S8 Plus dual-SIM. have 2 extended trips this year.

I don't thing Pixel have dual sim support. But every single phone ( Indian Version ) have Dual sim support except Apple and Pixel phones

If true then I should be able to sign up for Project Fi using the esim and then pop in a 2nd sim but I've not heard whether it supports dual sim or if only one can be used at a time. Has anybody tested this?

The answer seems to be no for now, you can't use esim and sim at the same time so I guess project fi plus international sim won't work.

Sadly, no. At the moment, you can either use the eSIM slot for Google Fi, or the nano SIM slot for all other mobile networks. It’s unclear if this functionality could be added at a later day, but for now it seems that the Pixel is not a dual-SIM phone.
