Duel Sim Duel Standby Tested and Confirmed

No one has really talked about the duels sims and if they're active at the same time.

Even though people said yes, I've tried it myself and I can confirm that DSDS is definitely on the Pixel 4XL.

On my eSIM, I have my personal number.

On the phsyical SIM, I have my work number.

On both you can send/receive calls and send/receive text messages. (BIG DEAL TO ME)

With mobile data, only one SIM can be active, which is known with other phones that support duel SIMs.

You can go into the settings to specific which data network you want to use.

So if anyone else was curious about DSDS, yes it works on the Pixel 4XL.

This is one of my big questions. I need a dual SIM phone that is fully functional on both AT&T and Verizon. I'm currently running a Oneplus 6T with physical Verizon and AT&T SIM's, but neither carrier allows full functionality on their network. I was hoping that the 4XL would be capable so I could have WIFI calling and full LTE/legacy network functionality on both carriers.

If I can't do it with a Pixel, I was probably going to be forced to an iPhone.

One is TMobile and other is MINT. Now Mint is a TMobile company, so that's why I'm probably not having any issues.

What happens if you select one of your SIMs as the data line, but then you get an MMS on your other sim? Do you have to switch to the other SIM as your data in order for you to download the MMS message? I'm running Android 8.1 (KEY2), and that's what I currently have to do. It's very annoying.

My Oneplus 6T is setup with data coming from my Verizon SIM and I have no problem sending or receiving MMS messages on my AT&T line. I don't change any settings, I just use the phone without thinking about it.

was it bought from google store or elsewhere , i heard phones that verizon phones were not supporting dual sims.

Just wanted to comment...DSDS works fine with my T-Mobile variant. Currently I'm only temporarily unlocked.
