Ok with my other android phones i would press amd hold on the screen and an optuon to add a widget would appear.

How do i do it know? Can i only add the ones available when i press the app drawer?

yeah only way is in the app drawer, but any app you download the widget for it will show up in that section.

The only way I know to add widgets is through the secondary menu listed at the top of the app drawer. Any widgets I download automatically go there.

Well i have the my verizon app and there is no placesthat i see to add the data usage widget.

I don't understand why they would remove the home screen long press actions. Or the menu key. Neither of these make any sense to me. How do you access menus in any application?

If there is a menu for the app, you'll see what looks like a 3-dotted colon on the screen. That's the menu button. It looks like this:

This is one reason I would get the rezound. Don't think I could give up dedicated menu and search buttons.
