Duplicate addresses

Weird issue here. I've noticed that when I create a new Google contact from my N7 and enter an address, for some really weird reason, the address will save itself twice, and I end up having two address fields displaying the same address in the contact card. When I check the contact through my web browser and phone, only one address appears. So, this seems to be an issue unique to my N7.

Has anyone else experienced this and discovered a solution? Thanks!

I think it Synced with Other Google emails links with backup emails, apps like Skype, Facebook. Edit your Syncing options.

I noticed Hangouts did this. I stay signed out of Hangouts as I only need regular MMS and SMS.

Thank you for the thoughts. I don't think it has to do with multiple contacts. To troubleshoot this issue, I have created new "test" contacts in Google, and within minutes, the duplicate address appears.

Anyone have any further thoughts on this? It's truly bizarre! What's more, I recall experiencing this issue when I first purchased this device. I have since done a factory reset after the 4.4 update, and it's apparently back.
